Vashj ir where is the inn

Meh, if we could just spend more alone time out behind the inn, together, without interruptions… I would care less about flying. Not everyone plays WoW the same way. I mostly quest and explore and rarely set foot into a dungeon or raid. I think Classic is all right but I like a lot of the changes the game has made in the past 15 years too. The developers are not gods making decisions that are set in stone for all time, they are adapting to the community and the state of the game as we collectively make WoW into a virtual world.

Air-filled caves are scattered throughout the continent. Explorers can spot their entrances by searching for yellow tube worms with purple shells. Here, adventurers can place campfires and eat food. Some refuges have an innkeeper, vendors, seahorse point and even a mailbox. Often these NPCs are added by completing phased quests. These refuges are often informally called "save caves" due to the way the city port works when sending players to the zone.

They are listed here in order of appearance:. Vashj'ir is off the west coast of the Eastern Kingdoms. Vashj'ir seen on a map in Chronicle Volume 3. Wowpedia Explore. Main Page All Pages. World of Warcraft. Classic Vanilla The Frozen Throne Reforged. Explore Wikis Community Central. Register Don't have an account? Can't remember the name. You play a Druadin? Post by Nipah I know there are plenty of innkeepers, but while questing around in Hyjal, I couldn't find even 1 place that gave me rested.

Will be useful the next time I come around there :P I was getting rested in the elf building near where you murder Harpies. Sorry I can't give you a more exact location, but I generally went with the tried and true "Hearth back to SW to log out, and then portal back to the zone when I come back" method.

Where did you read druid? Gee, reading isn't your strong side, huh? How stupid of someone to confuse those two, considering how you worded it. Post by Nipah On a side note: The first inn you come across in Hyjal the one containing the Quartermaster doesn't like giving you the rested effect Comment by asmodai For Alliance the quest you need to pick up to get to Vashj'ir is in the harbour and is called Into the Abyss.

In the current beta it seems that you start with Recruiter Burns and Call of Duty. Comment by Abomb so much cuthulu-esk lost ones, im exited for the incoming madness. PS: The alliance flypath is at the other end of the beach. Comment by Hazeling Its easy to get a bit disoriented in this zone, especially when trying to find the quest hubs in those sneaky caves. Luckily blizz seems to have an added small landmarks for finding them a bit easier.

Look for yellow ''leaves'' waving in the current, those plants mark the locations of the caves. Comment by Currently if you try to go there like I did with rocket boots and the peek of Gnomeregan you will be teleported away to a spot in the edge of Dun Morogh.

Link here. There are also two Booty Bay Bruisers here. Comment by HordeSkorp When you pick up the quest line from Orgrimmar you get taken there Comment by After you complete Call of Duty quest, there is a portal to Vashj'ir as well as portal to Hyal at 75,17 in Stormwind. Don't wait for the boat :. Comment by How does one get back if they left? Comment by For horde the zone portals including to Vashj'ir are on that altar thing above the word 'Wisdom' as in Valley of Wisdom on the Orgrimmar map.

Comment by MrsSwordman5k2U Why is it showing that Alliance have complete ten more quests than Horde to get the same achiev. Comment by jennybeanblue If you get to Vashj'ir via the intitial quest, do NOT get the fligth point, then hearth back to a major city You must go to the island in the north east part of stormwind where the earthen people are and take a portal there.

Coords: 74, Comment by I found this zone slightly frustrating given the lack of information other than on this site on how to get back and forth from org. Additional frustrations: 1 inability to use my tundra mammoth to sell items 2 inability to use your seahorse if you are standing on the sea floor 3 bugginess of the abysmal depth instance entrance.

There was a bug not letting me exit the depth via the npc. Additionally this bugged caused several inexplicable deaths. I had to hearth to get out. For Stormwind, the Ring is by Stormwind Keep, a bit to the north. The portal area has seashells and sea fauna around it bluish portal. From what I can tell about the portal is it'll port ya to the latest "cave" flight path you've reached.

To return to Eastern Kingdom from Vashj'ir without a hearth In the first zone Keep'thar Forest , swim to the surface to the southern region around The Clutch. You should see an island in that vicinity there may be some swimming required. This area is what you see on the Shimmering Expanse map with the blue flight path and red flight path near another. Initially, I thought this was the underwater ones but yeah, break surface and it's referencing the above water island. Neat, huh? For the Alliance, Ironforge is the closest and cheapest direct route from this spot.

I'll post screenshots later on! Comment by bbmeltdown Thus far, I haven't found any class trainers in Vashj'ir. Started the Depths late last night. If I find any, I'll post. That one is restricted to level You want the swirly blue one right next to the Earthen Ring folks, it doesn't look like a standard mage portal, which the Tol Barad one does.

Comment by Karlzone All those lost warriors here It makes me sad that i cannot help But: I Could make a portal! Here we go! Comment by Oskar Is the druids water form somehow super overpowered in this zone? Comment by if your wondering how to get back as alliance take the seahorse flight from smugglers den and fly to sandy beach where youll get a flight to go back to your cities.

Comment by so i can go there only at lvl 80? Follow the quest chain and eventually a portal will unlock in Stormwind that you can port back to Vashj'ir. There are TWO flight paths here so make sure to get both as only the one on the strand is the one connecting you to Ironforge.

Comment by Tenjen For a bit of lore info, Lady Vashj's mother, Lastheria Vashj, led this city during its less damp hay days. Comment by pooghost Note: Both this zone and Hyjal requires lvl 80 now Comment by aringoth If you had gotten the Sea Turtle from fishing, don't forget that you can use that mount until you get the Sea Horse here in this zone to make the travel at least a little easier to that point.

Comment by Velariana I don't know about anyone else, but looking at the screenshots of this zone as well as questing there always makes me think of "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid. Comment by Asclepius99 What about a portal back to SW? Comment by How do you get from Vashj'ir to Stormwind or Dalaran? It seems the hearthstone has dissappeared from my user interface. Is there a portal? Comment by to get from vashj'ir to stormwind fastest way you have to use flight point above water around starting area!

Comment by joshmcopeland For those of you that hate swimming around in the stupid water, here is a trick. Warning: There are some places however that will dismount you in abysall depths. Happy questing! Comment by Anyone know where the Abandonded Reef is? It's needed for the explore Vashj'ir achievement. Comment by nyxuche gawd, I hate this place.

I'm just curious about what's going on with the two fractions. Am I an alliance spy wearing a belf suit or something? Comment by RoboNoob Vashj'ir is a very nice place to farm herbs for Herbalism if you know where to go.

I have constructed a route for this, which can be seen here. This route is heavily populated with Stormvine and Azshara's Veil. Comment by Inumaru This very well could be a stupid question to ask I was questing with my rogue and I can't figure it out, and I already changed my hearth to Vashj'ir. Now I'm trapped here and I really need to get to the mainland.

Fatigue got to about seconds. So basically it's benefits are the same as the druids flight form except it has the added bonus of being usable during combat I wouldn't be too surprised if this changed in a future patch. Comment by Ok, so i've done over quests in Hyjal, over 75 in Deepholm and Uldam each but I still can't get the Vashir quests. Update: Ah I went back to all the quest givers in the quest line and must have deleted the quest call of duty locaten SE of Org near the dock.

Comment by Vath If it hasn't been said yet, Silver Tide Hollow in the Shimmering Expanse appears to be the first "inn" that grants rested xp. I noticed a lot of hearth locations didn't come with rested xp bonus, a pain in attempting to make leveling faster.

Comment by cmeierd If you're someone who wants to make the most of your rest xp, then Vashj'ir is probably not the best place to go.
